I don’t know about you, but I have always been taught to decrease my stress. I have been told repeatedly that stress is bad for me. Stress negatively affects my health; it hurts my heart; it can even shorten my life. Right? We all know it. Stress makes your heart pound, your breathing quicken and your forehead sweat. Well….what if stress doesn’t kill me? What if it is my RESPONSE to stress that could kill me? What if stress isn’t the problem at all and it is the way I think about stress that causes the problem?
